This is a piece that is from the original drawing being scanned at high resolution and then digitally remastered in Photoshop. Colours are added, objects from my sketchbooks placed into the scene to add intrigue and mystery. When satisfied with the balance and composition It is scaled to the size required or chosen and then sent to the printers to print on canvas. When finished it’s taken to the framers to be stretch over a frame. Then begins the next phase which is the hand coloured additions, generally in acrylics.Collage pieces are chosen  and gold and silver leaf to highlight the steampunk characters added in Photoshop. And the end result is what you see. A hand coloured Giclee print that started as a drawing in pencil and gouache, to become a large scale hand finished art piece.
